ART COLLECTION

The NACS art collection is made up of works donated by a group of artists from the Catalan-speaking territories soon after the founding of the North American Catalan Society, in support of its mission. The first exhibition of the collection took place in Toronto on April 16, 1982, during the 3 rd  Colloquium of the NACS at the University of Toronto, in Canada. Following several itinerant exhibitions in the United States and Canada, the collection was deposited in 1990 on extended loan to the SFU Gallery, at Simon Fraser University, on the occasion of the 6 th  Colloquium of the NACS in Vancouver, Canada.
